1. Think about a need in your community you care about. It could be related to children, women, families, or senior citizens—anything you feel passionate about. Now, volunteer either to help with that need yourself or encourage other people to volunteer with you and do it as a group.

2. One of the surest ways of getting refreshing, flowing movement in your life again is doing something for someone else. Collect a few addresses from either your workplace, Sunday school class, or perhaps a local senior citizen home. Take a few minutes to write an encouraging note to someone you may not even know. Let him know how much you care and that you’re praying for him this week.
